What is powder coat painting?
Powder coat painting is an enviornmentally friendly process in which a colored powder is electrostatically applied to a metal and then cured with heat. The heat cured powder forms a smoothe lustrous”skin” over the metal. Because of this “skin,” powder coat forms an extremely durable finish that will not chip or flake like traditional paints.
We try to be as green as possible! Powder coatings emit zero or near zero volatile organic compounds (VOC). Powder coating overspray can be recycled and thus it is possible to achieve nearly 100% use of the coating. Powder coating production lines produce less hazardous waste than conventional liquid coatings.
Powder coat finishs are beautiful and smoothe! There are tons of colors and options for you to choose from. We have powder coats that are glossy, twinkling, matte, textured, color fades, and etc.A wide range of specialty effects are easily accomplished which would be impossible to achieve with other coating processes.
